The work include demolition of Building 42, Wharf F and Approach E having a total area of approximately 22,000 sf. These structures are located in Mississippi River adjacent to levee, supported by 658 wood piles and 43 concrete piers, constructed by a combination of masonry, concrete, steel and wood. All piles and piers are to be cut to the mud line. The work includes asbestos and lead paint abatement. This solicitation will be issued on an UNRESTRICTED basis. Estimate cost is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Estmated duration of the contract is 380 days for completion. Plans and specification will be available on or about 19 Jun 97.
