M -- OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF NMFS NEWPORT FIELD STATION SOL 52ABNF800002 DUE 070997 POC Jan Sullivan 2065266032 This publication serves as a notice of intent to negotiate a sole-source contract with Oregon State (OSU) to provide all labor and material to operate and maintain NOAA'S National Marine Fisheries Service's Newport Field Station located within OSU's Mark O. Hatfield Marine Science Center in Newport, Oregon. The Contractor shall be required to provide the following services: Building and equipment maintenance, scientific equipment maintenance, operation and maintenance of the seawater distribution system ensuring a constant source of clean seawater, security/safety inspections, mail distribution and provisions of library services. This is a continuation of services being performed by OSU. The period of performance will be a base year plus two option years. Other interested sources may submit their qualifications, demonstrating their ability to perform the necessary services at the required location to the NOAA, WASC, Acquisition Management Division office within 30 days of the publication of this notice.
