Project Description: The proposed project is to provide a contained wash area for station vehicles and equipment with discharge of wastewater to the sanitary sewer system. The washrack shall consist of two stalls. One stall shall be sized to accommodate small cars and trucks and the second shall be sized for washing of heavy equipment. A cat-walk or other means shall be provided to allow for ease of access for washing the top of equipment and vehicles. The use of high pressure/low volume water along with automatic soap dispensing units shall be incorporated. A sump shall be provided for the removal of soil and grit from the wastewater, along with an oil/water separator for the removal of oil and grease. The area shalla be covered and lighted.
