10 -- MK 53 DECOY LAUNCHING SYSTEM ORDALT KITS SOL N00024-97-R-5400 POC Catherine Palmer, Contract Specialist, (703)602-8000 X561 The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue a contract as a result of solicitation N00024-97-R-5400 to Sippican, Inc. for seventeen (17) MK 53 Decoy Launching System ORDALT kits to support the NULKA decoy. This procurement will be issued on a sole source basis with Sippican, Inc. This contract will be issued in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Sippican, Inc. is the sole producer of these ORDALT kits and is the only source with the requisite knowledge, expertise and qualifications to perform this effort. Sippican, Inc. is currently under contract to develop and validate the Level 3 drawing package using production representative components.
