This announcement constitutes the request for quote for the required items. Proposals are hereby requested under RFQ N00189-97-Q-5222 a subsequent solicitation document will not be issued. FISC Acquisition Group Norfolk intends to purchase, on a full and open competitive basis, as follows: 1) 1 each Vacuum Infiltration Processor, Model VIP E150 Bench Number 4890, Capacity 150 cassettes, Solution Volume Requirements: 2.2L, Memory: 9 programs with individual self-calculating delay modes, Interfaces: External alarm connection, Printer interface (optional, Uninterrupted power supply (optional), Retort Temperature Ranges: Stations 1 to 10: 35 degrees C to 50 degrees C, Stations 11 to 14: 45 degrees C to 70 degrees C, Oven Temperature: Oven remains 2 degrees C above set temperatures of stations 11 to 14, Dimensions (width, depth, height): 39" x 23" x 26", Weight: 271 lbs, Electrical: 115 VAC @ 10.5A, 60 Hz. 2) 6 each Activated Carbon Tissue Tex, used in conjunction with Tissue Processor VIP E150 Bench Top. Award of a firm fixed price contract on a brand name or equal basis is contemplated. Proposals received shall specify FOB Destination, Norfolk, VA. Offers other than FOB Destination shall be ineligible for award.
