Z -- ROAD RECONSTRUCTION SOL R6-20-97-28RD DUE 070997 POC Contracting Department, Jeannette -- 541/883-6804 or Trisha -- 541/883-6739 The purpose of this solicitation is to provide for flood damage repair to Forest Service Road #33 on the Paisley Ranger District. The work will consist of restoring road edge embankments and ditches with shot rock borrow, saw cutting damaged asphalt paving edges, replacing lost base course aggregate, cleaning culverts in-place, cleaning a cattleguard, restoring a rock jack and wire gate, and replacing lost asphalt with a commercial source hot bituminous plant mix. The project is located on the Paisley Ranger District of the Fremont National Forest, Lake County, Oregon. Magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. This procurement is being conduct under the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program in accordance with PL 100-656. This is not set-aside for small business. (0170)
