The work to be performed under this project consists of the removal and replacement of approximately 21,000 square feet of windows in the Main Building, provision of air conditioning to Wings A, B, and C of the Main Building (approximately 50,000 square feet) via through wall units and split systems, and upgrades to the center primary and secondary electrical system. The work to be performed is at the Dayton Job Corps Center, located in Dayton, Ohio. Construction time is scheduled for 210 calendar days to substantial completion. The estimated price range for construction is from $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Plans and specifications will be available on July 15, 1997, ONLY from the office of Architect/Engineer, Mark Beachler Associates, 104 Brown Street, Dayton, Ohio 45402. The non-refundable fee shall not exceed the actual cost of duplication of the IFB document, plus COD charges. A Pre-Bid walk-through is scheduled for August 5, 1997, at 10:00 a.m., local time.
