Ideally, the Government may provide the used paint to a recycler free of charge; however, if this is not feasible and there is a charge, we will evaluate prices submitted by recyclers. In addition to the firm name, address, point of contact, and telephone, respondents should include the following information: Type of paint recycled (oil base/latex); brief description of recycling process used, required turn-in condition of paint accepted (can it contain any mineral spirits, can any percentage be in a solid state, etc.); location of turn-in points; if substantial quantities are available is recycler equipped to pick up and transport the paint to the point of recycling; if so, for what geographical area; does quantity impact price.
