1997 ONDCP INTERNATIONAL COUNTERDRUG TECHNOLOGY SYMPOSIUM, CHICAGO, IL, AUGUST 18-21, 1997. 1997 ONDCP International Technology Symposium "Harnessing Technology to Support the National Drug Control Strategy"; August 18-21, 1997. The Office of National Drug Control Policy/Counterdrug Technology Assessment Center (ONDCP/CTAC), United Kingdom Home Office, Revenue Canada, and other major US and international agencies will co-sponsor the 1997 symposium at the Hotel Inter-Continental, 505 North Michigan, Chicago, IL. This symposium will provide a forum for domestic and international technology information exchange on current issues and developing opportunities in all areas of counterdrug demand and supply reduction technology. Representatives from Congress, senior US and foreign government officials, and other distinguished speakers will participate in the program. Registration cost is $125 for state and local drug abuse, health, treatment, and law enforcement persons, and $275 for all others. Lodging is available at the Hotel Inter-Continental at $119 per night (must reserve by July 23, 1997 for this rate).
