(THE ISSUANCE OF THIS PROJECT IS SUBJECT TO CORPS OF ENGINEERS PARC APPROVAL OF A SUBMI8TTED ACQUISITION PLAN) Job Order Contract (JOC) for a broad range of maintenance repair, and a wide variety of minor construction tasks at Fort Sam Houston, TX, in support of the Directorate of Public Works. The contract will be an Indefinite Quantity Type Contract on which individual task orders will be issued. The Contractor will be required to furnish materials, equipment and personnel necessary to manage and accomplish the tasks. Task orders include tasks in a variety of trades such as carpentry, road repair, roofing, excavation, demolition, concrete, masonry, and welding. The duration of the contract will initially be a 12-month period, with options for 4 one-year extensions. The minimum guaranteed amount for the initial 12-month period is $100,000 and the maximum amount for the same period is $5M. The specifications have been placed on Compact Disk (CD-ROM). The Unit Price Book (UPB) will be provided in a printed paper hard copy format. The cost for specifications and the UPB will be $50.00 (no drawings). Notification of amendments shall be made through either 3.5" diskette, CD ROM, and/or the internet. The Government intends to issue this solicitation through the use of CD ROM and the internet. However, the Government reserves the right to use only the internet as notification of any changes to this solicitation. It is therefore the contractors responsibility to check the following address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation. Solicitation to be issued on or about 10 Jul 97. Proposals are due on or about 11 Aug 97. This an unrestricted solicitation. Offers from all qualified business concerns are solicited. If a large business firm intends to submit a proposal, it must comply with FAR 52.219-9 clause regarding the requirement for asubcontracting plan.
