Project is located on the Clearwater Ranger District, Idaho County, Idaho; from Forest Headquarters at Grangeville, Idaho proceed easterly along SH 13 a distance of 15.1 miles to the junction with Idaho County Road #88-E (Clearwater Road); thence easterly along the Clearwater Road 5.4 miles to the junction with Forest Road #650 (West Fork Clear Creek); thence easterly along Road #650 a distance of 7.8 miles to the first repair site. Project consists of road repair and maintenance at various locations on the Clearwater and Elk City Ranger Districts including gabion basket installation, excavation & embankment, drainage installation, installation of riprap, blading roadways, placing aggregate and other miscellaneous and associated work. Pre-bid tour is scheduled for August 12, 1997 to begin at the Supervisor's Office in Grangeville at 8:00 a.m. Estimated start work is September 20, 1997.
