Z -- RENOVATION OF BUILDINGS 2110, 2113, 2114, AND 2115, FORT EUSTIS, VIRGINIA SOL DACA65-97-B-0033 DUE 090397 POC Maryellen Maurer, (757)441-7551 This project consists of construction of private baths on all three floors, except Building 2110, which will receive baths on second and third floors only. Demolition: Remove asbestos in bath and closet areas, including fixtures, plumbing, structural ceramic tile and interior walls. Exterior walls are to remain; Remove existing plumbing throughout each building; Remove existing bathroom doors and door frames; Remove existing radiant heaters in bathrooms. New Work: Construct a private bath for each rooms, including ceramic floors, vanity sinks, new glass showerstalls with corian walls, new toilet fixtures, new light fixtures, new exhaust system for each bath vented to exterior, new heating units for baths mounted on exterior side of building, new doors and door frames, new closet space, and new plumbing; Insulate piping; Install heat lamps in each bathroom. Renovate the first floor on Building 2110 to convert the eight (8) rear rooms into suites and to convert the existing bathrooms for handicapped usage. Add a handicap ramp to back of building. Magnitude of project is estimated $500,000 to $1,000,000. This is an unrestricted procurement. SIC Code 1522 applies.
