Y -- INSTALLATION OF CONVERTORS SOL DABT51-97-R-0047 DUE 082997 POC Contract Specialist JOHNA ROBERTS (915) 568-1492 (Site Code DOCSUP) The work includes furnishing all labor, material and equipment, transportation and supervision necessary for the installation of convertors involving, but not limited to, the construction of reinforced concrete pads, the building of angle iron structures and concrete ramps, the installation of chain link fence, copper clad ground wire, convertors, PDUs, RGS underground conduit and KVA pad mounted transformer. This solicitation is restricted for small business. All other firms are ineligible to submit offers. The estimated cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000 with a performance period of 100 days. The Standard Industrial Code is 1731 with a size standard of $7.0M. Bid, performance and payment bonds are required. Award of a firm fixed-price contract is contemplated. Solicitation packages will be available on or about July 30, 1997 with proposals received 30 days after issuance of solicitation. Only written requests for the solicitation will be considered. A fee will be charged for each solicitation package prior to issuance and will be based on a cost of 10 cents per page plus $5.00 shipping/handling.
