The 11th Contracting Squadron/LGCA, Bolling AFB DC, intends to procure, via a firm fixed-price, sole source purchase order with Neon Systems, 11350 Random Hills Rd, Fairfax VA, for (1 each) Shadow Direct software with a 25 concurrent user perpetual license, to include the following options: ODBC/DB2 access module, transaction server for CICS, advanced controls, (for CPU model: IBM 3090-400J, classified platform) and (1 each) Shadow Direct software with a 35 concurrent user perpetual license, to include the following options: ODBC/DB2 access module, transaction server for CICS, advanced controls (for CPU model: IBM 9672-R44, unclassified platform). This product must provide the following capabilities: ODBC 2.0 compliant API allowing both DB2 and non-relational data access, ODBC optimized catalog for DB2 performance improvements, build in network data compression to enhance performance, permanent-dedicated client threads for each inbound client/host session request, and secure-direct TCP/IP access from the client to MVS (i.e., no gateway required).
