PART NO., MIL-SPEC, FED SPEC, QPL, SIZE, DIMENSIONS, FORM, FIT, FUNCTION, PREDOMINATE MATERIAL, QUANTITY, OPTION QTY, DELIVERY SCHEDULE/PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE, FOB DESTINATION/ORIGIN_Solicitation of a FFP type requirement for expended MK50 torpedo lithium boiler disposal services on an unrestricted basis. Services will consist of pick-up from the naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Keyport, WA; transport to contractor's facility; the lithium removal process and disposal of expended MK50 boilers. Due to the nature of these services, this contract is subject to the Service Contract Act and the place of performance is unknown. Wage Determinations have not been requested, however the contracting officer will request wage determinations for specified locations if firms submitting a proposal request a specified locality in writing by 3:00 PM (PST) 20 August 1997. The requirement period will be for a Base year and two 12 month option periods. The estimated level of effort is for 100 boilers for each period of performance.
