The purpose of this project is to map and classify all vegetative stands, formerly vegetated, and non-vegetated areas, included in the project area. The delineations will be done on natural color 1:12000 resource photos taken in 1995. The delineated lines must be transferred to qeo-referenced quads in a GIS environment that is compatible with Arc-Info, the GIS system used on the Umatilla National Forest. The classifications will be entered into a data base so that the comma delimited export files can be loaded into the Umatilla NF Oracle EVG data base. Both the delineation lines and the data base must be delivered in an electronic format. (0198)
