16 -- PROVIDE ECP AND MODIFY AN/ASQ-197 SENSOR CONTROL-DATA DISPLAY SET. SOL N00019-94-C-0063 DUE 082097 POC Contact, JEFF BROWN, Phone (703)604-6100 The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM) intends to issue a modificatiion to N00019-94-C-0063 contract with Fairchild Space and Defense Corporation to provide an Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) to modify the AN/ASQ-197 Sendor Control -- Data Display Set (SC-DDS), Part number 31H0000000. Incorporation and completion of this engineering chane, will enhance the capability of the SC-DDS by allowing fleet maintenance personnel access to failure data after completion of a Tactical Air Reconnaissance mission and after power has been removed from the aircraft. As the designer and sole producer of the AN/ASQ-197, Fairchild is the only known source who possesses the required expertise and knowledge to provide the necessary services within the time frame required to meet fleet aviation operational deployments -- NAVAIR Synopsis No. 20132-97.
