Michigan Forest Highway Project MI PFH/PLH 16-5(14), in Houghton County, Michigan consists of widening the existing roadway, improving the vertical alignment, and other miscellaneous work. Principal items of work and approximate quantities are as follows: Clearing and Grubbing: 26 ACRE; Roadway Excavation: 107,000 CUYD; Unclassified Borrow: 22,800 CUYD; Aggregate Base: 24,500 Ton; Aggregate Subbase: 144,000 TON; Aggregate Surface Course: 32,600 Ton; Hot Asphalt Concrete Pavement: 6,900 TON.
