The USCG ELC is seeking qualified sources that can provide information pertaining to a SHIPBOARD INCINERATOR. Interested parties shall provide information on the incinerator that can meet or exceed the capabilities of International Maritime Organization (IMO) approved or meeting the "IMO Shipboard Incinerator". Standard is found in MARPOL 73/78 Annex V., Capacity -- 500,000 kcal/hour (minimum) or to burn about 150 pound of class II garbage or waste oil per hour. Dimensions -- not to exceed, length 108", width 96", and heght 84". The following information is requested as part of our market research in determining if there is a commercial item available in the market place that will fulfill the Government's need. Therefore, interested parties having the capabilities and expertise required are invited to submit completed detailed information discussing their capabilities in duplicate within fifteen days fo this announcement. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP). The Government does not intend to pay for the information solicited. Responses must be concise and be specifically directed to the requirement mentioned above. Organizations that respond to the notice must fully demonstrate their capabilities to meet the requirements and provide adequate detailed data to be evaluated.
