Muse (Site Code DADA15) Walter Reed Army Medical Center intends to negotiate with Sofamor Danek (Rock Surgical Associates, Ellicott City, MD) on a sole-source basis for a Stealth Image Guided Surgery System for use in orthopaedic spinal and cranial surgery. At a minimum the system shall have FDA clearnace for entire body, ability to show 3D images on computer monitor, able to guide surgeon to target with or without using a microscope, include software applications for cranial, spinal, skull base, orthopedics and ENT and the ability to add additional application software, have microscope interface capability for Zeiss, Leica and Moeller instruments and connectivity input for CT and MRI.
