Please ensure you read the previous CBD notice. Peterson AFB has an urgent requirement (FAR Part 6.302-2) to repair the boilers at Clear AS, AK which is 80 miles south of Fairbanks. This will be an unrestricted procurement under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The elegibilty criteria on line 24 of the previous notice is changed to read "The contractor shall have proven experience in the repair and retubing of water tube bolers of this size and operating characteristics. The contractor shall have retubed boilers operating with pressures of 500 PSIG plus and output exceeding 75,000 pounds of steam per hour in the past five years." All remaining data on the CBD notice dated 15 July 97 remain in affect. (0203)
