The Social Security Administration (SSA), Western Program Service Center, 1221 Nevin Avenue, Richmond, CA 94802 has a requirement for labor, supervision, material, equipment, supplies, services to maintain healthy, attractive and safe conditions of all trees, shrubs, lawns and other plants located on the grounds of the above Agency. Work includes clean-up and offsite disposals of all clippings and other refuse generated in the process; policing of the grounds; and other exterior cleaning. All work shall be performed in a professional manner within standards of the industry, using quality equipment, methods and materials. Competitive pricing will be solicited and accepted. The period of performance shall be one year from either the date of award or 10/01/97, whichever is later, with provisions for the inclusion of four one-year renewable option periods. This requirement is being processed in accordance with FAR Subpart 12. Commercial Items. Solicitation Number SSA-RFP-98-3131 is scheduled for release onor about August 12, 1997, with proposals due 30 days later. This requirement is a 100% small- business set-aside. Proposals received from other than a small business will be deemed unacceptable and given no further consideration.
