This requirement is limited to 8(a) firms serviced by the New Jersey District Office which have a SIC Code of 1761 among their approved SIC Codes. Al other firms are ineligible to submit offers. Thsi will be an indefinite quantity type contract. This contractor shall furnish all management, labor, materials, supplies, tools, and equipment in order to perform this requirement. The contractor will perform on various types of roofing and roofing accessories to prvoide a watertight and properly functioning roof system. This includes, but not limited to: leaders, gutters, downspouts, roof vents, access hatches, insulation, tirm boards, and snow guards, etc. The contractor shall provide and install all requested items required. The contractor will be responsible for removal and reinstallation of all roof top mounted equipment that may impede his access to the roofing surface needing repairs (i.e.HVAC units, de-energized service masts, pipes, conduits, etc.). Work may also be performed on various types of structures (i.e. housing units, industrial and institutional buildings). Repair by replacement shall incude all roofing (eave, ridge, valley, and mansard) closure pieces, flashing, insulation, vapor barrier, caulking, expanison joints and covers, fasteners, curbs, cupolas, leaders, gutters, etc. Period of performance will be for two years from date of award with one option year for a total of three years or the expenditure of funds, whichever shall occur first. The Small Business size standard is $7.0 million. Funds are not presently available for this acquisition. No contract award will be made until appropriated funds are made available from which payment for contract purposes can be made. A site inspection will be held.
