FAR Clause 52.215-16, Alternate II (OCT 95), Contract Award is hereby incorporated by reference. 2. In an effort to reduce the administrative burden associated with multiple awards, the Government intends to award a maximum of (5) five contracts under this solicitation. The minimum award amount of all contracts, combined, for this solicitation covering the base year plus all options is $100,000. The maximum award amount for all contracts, combined, for this solicitation covering ths base year plus all option years is $3,000,000. The $100,000 minimum and the $3,000,000 maximum is not for each individual contract awarded. The stated minimum and maximum is inclusive of all contracts for the base period and all option years. 3. Each successful contractor will be provided a FAIR OPPORTUNITY to compete for each Task Order. The procedure for issuance of individual Task Orders will be in accordance with FAR 16.504 and FAR 16.505 and as follows: a) We will solicit all eligible/successful contractors for quotes on Task Orders. b) Contractors must respond to the Contracting Officer within the timeframe specified in the Task Order. c) Contractor's past performance on previous Task Orders performed under this contract will be evaluated. d) Cost Control e) Factors the Contracting Officer believes relevant for the award of the Task Order. 4. On page 2 of 4 of the original CBD notice, sentence beginning "Evaluation for Award...." will be changed in its entirety to read as follows: "Evaluation for Award will be based on financial and technical ability, past performance, quality control program and contract management." 5. The Bid Opening is hereby extended from 31 July 97, 1400 hrs to 08 August 97, 1400 hrs, same location. 6. All other items remain unchanged. (0209)
