Acquisition Management, Doris.P.Turner@noaa.gov. The National
Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) requires 12
folding antennas with the following specifications. Antennas shall
operate over a frequency range of 0.1 -- 1.0 GHz minimum. Antennas
shall have a nominal impedance of 50 ohms. Antennas shall have a
minimum power gain of 4.8 dBi. Antennas shall be unipolarized. Antennas
shall have operating temperature ranges at a minimum of -30 degrees C
to at least a maximum of 60 degrees C while maintaining calibration and
data integrity. Antennas shall operate in rain or snow without
degradation of the electrical specifications. Antennas shall be
individually calibrated over .1 -- 1 GHz in the far field to produce
electric antenna factors. Antennas shall be mountable on a flat
horizontal plate or mountable on a vertical pipe. The antenna mount
shall swivel over a 90 degree range to orient the antenna for both
vertical and horizontal polarizations. Antennas shall not exceed 54
inches x 8 inches when completely collapsed for storage. Antennas shall
be made of durable and light weight material and have a maximum weight
of 25 lbs. The radio frequency connector shall be a type N female.
Antennas shall have a minimum wind load of 120 mph. The elements shall
fold along the boom for storage and shall be able to be hinged-locked
in place. Removing antenna elements shall not be required for storage.
The elements shall remain attached to the boom at all times. The
antenna's mounting point shall be within 6 inches of the antenna's

the intent of the Government to issue a separate solicitation for this
requirement. Interested sources proposing to supply equivalent items
must submit a written qualification statement by fax, clearly
establishing capability to meet the above requirements within 15 days
