J -- TECH REP TO REMOVE/O & I/REPORT/OVERHAUL JP-5 PURIFIER SOL N00181-97-Q-0099 POC Kiera Rustay, Code 531.5A, (757) 396-8376; Mary Ward, Code 532, (757) 396-8376 Services of the original equipment manufacturer, Alfa-Laval, Inc., to furnish a technical representative to remove, open/inspect, furnish report/overhaul/install and test one (1) JP-5 Purifier. Place of Performance shall be at the contractor's facility and on-site at Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY). Performance shall begin with removal of the Purifier Assembly on 09 September 1997 and all services, including installation upon completion of services, shall be completed no later than 01 December 1997. This requirement will be solicited on a sole source basis and under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Closing date for receipt of quotes will be specified in the Request for Quotation when issued.
