Ryan (518) 786-4986 (Site Code DAHA30) Construct Aircraft Rinse and Deicing Facility -- Contractor will provide all materials, labor and supervision to construct aircraft rinse and deicing facility, per Government issued specifications and drawings, at the 106th RQW, New York Air National Guard Base, Westhampton Beach, New York. Construction must abide to all Federal, State, Air Force and local codes and contractual clauses. The proposed project includes, but is not limited to removal of existing bituminous concrete and portland cement concrete pavements. Removal of taxiway lighting fixtures and wiring. Construction of bituminous concrete and portland cement pavements. construction of trench drains, manholes, associated piping and motor operated valves for the waste system. Installation of water line, pump, valves, piping and nozzles for rinse system. Excavation for installation and backfill of three (3) underground tanks ((1) oil/water separator, (1) water storage and (1) waste water holding tank). Construction of pump pit and associated piping. Installation of level and leak detection for newly installed tanks. Installation of electrical manholes, power and control panel. In addition, there is one Additive Bid Item (ABI). ABI includes providing and installing taxiway lighting fixtures, bases, trenching, wiring and testing. The magnitude of this proposed project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The Standard Identification Code (SIC) is 1771. The anticipated performance time for this project is 365 calendar days upon issuance of notice to proceed. Invitation for Bid (IFB) DAHA30-97-B-0010 will be issued on or about 20 August 1997 with a bid opening date on or about 19 September 1997.
