intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with Peregrine Systems,
12670 High Bluff Drive, San Diego, CA, 92130, to expand an existing
license for "Service Center" software for additional platforms and
users. This software is run at the Justice Data Center to assist with
Help Desk operations and inventory and change management functions. The
procurement will include the software, maintenance services, and
minimal hardware. The period of performance, including all optional
periods, will be a maximum of 60 months. The only know source for
providing support of "Service Center" software is Peregrine Systems.
Interested parties shall provide written responses within 30 calendar
days from the date of this publication. Alternative software or support
will NOT be considered. This notice is for informational purposes only;
it is NOT a Request for Proposals. NO solicitation document exists.
