Work under this project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary for grade and drain and asphaltic surfacing of one-half mile of road and an adjacent parking lot. Work includes corrugated metal pipes, fly ash treated base, sidewalk installation, signage, and temporary and permanent erosion control. Project Number is B08603-1(2&4) and is located five and one half miles south of Stroud, Oklahoma on SH 99 in Lincoln County. The estimated amount of construction is between $250,000-$500,000. Roberson, Contracting Officer. Project to be completed no later than one hundred fifty (150) calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. Bid opening to be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 4, 1997 in the Branch of Contracts, Anadarko Area Office, Anadarko, OK. Section 7(b) of the Public Law 93-638(25 U.S.C.450E), as amended, and 41 CFR 14-1.354 require that preference opportunities in employment and training be given to Indian/Alaskan individuals and that preference in the award of subcontracts be given to Indian/Alaskan economic enterprises. Failure by the Contractor to submit a plan for doing so prior to award and implement same after award shall be sufficient reason for non-award or termination of the contract for default. (0216)
