Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate a Basic Ordering
Agreement (BOA) extension for 01 October 1997 to 30 September 1998 with
The Boeing Company for repair of repairable items for the Harpoon
Missile, the Stand-off Land Attack Missile (SLAM) and the Stand-off
Land Attack Missile Extended Response (SLAM ER) weapon systems. This
includes the repair and return-to-ready-condition of: the
Harpoon/SLAM/SLAM ER missiles; Harpoon/SLAM/SLAM ER missile sections;
weapon replaceable assemblies; shop replaceable assemblies, capsules,
components, and subassemblies; Harpoon/SLAM weapon stations;
Harpoon/SLAM support equipment; test equipment and other related
supplies, services, and associated data. Also included is the
procurement/incorporation of Technical Directives (TDs) into
Harpoon/SLAM/SLAM ER missile and missile related equipment and the
incidental repair of Harpoon/SLAM/SLAM ER missile and missile related
equipment that may be required during incorporation of TDs; integrated
logistics support services; spare and repair parts; technical
training; technical manuals; publications and documentation; support
equipment; depot storage and supply operations; and engineering
technical services for the Harpoon/SLAM/SLAM ER weapon system for both
U.S. Navy and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Customers. The Boeing
Company, P.O. Box 516, St. Louis, MO 63166-0516 is the sole developer,
designer, and manufacturer of the Harpoon/SLAM/SLAM ER missile systems
and the only known firm possessing the necessary knowledge, data,
equipment, facilities, and experience to perform the effort in the
