99 -- CABLE TEST SYSTEM UPGRADE SOL N0025397Q0136 DUE 090597 POC Contact Point, Victor Angkico, 360/396-5671 This notice cancels the sole source synopsis for the upgrade of 2 each, DIT-MCO workstations appearing in the CBD on 18 March 1997. As result of vendor responses, the Government has decided to compete this effort. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC), Division Keyport intends to competitively solicit for the upgrade of 2 each, existing DIT-MCO work stations 9500.T81 and 8210. The upgrade shall be composed of 1)Self-calibrating replacements for DIT-MCO DCS II and DCS; 2) Capacitance Measurement System, either separate or built-in, that will function with the DCS replacement; 3) Interface and/or hardware that shall eliminate the requirement for a logic rack by interfacing with existing terminal selectors; 4)Workstation, software, and hardware that will run existing DIT-MCO.ro and ACT files and generate new files. Workstation as a minimum must have a 200Mhz Pentium Processor, 32MB RAM, 1 Gb HD, 3.5" floppy disk drive, 8XCD, Mouse, Keyboard, ZIP drive with 10 cartridges, 15" monitor, WIN95. Delivery will be required approximatley 30 days after contract award. This acquisition will be solicited as a 100% small business set-aside. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which, if timely received, shall be considered by the agency. The RFQ will be issued on or about 25 AUG 97 with a 2 week closing.
