The Federal Emergency Management Agency is seeking bidders for the following project: Communications Tower Installation at the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Mount Weather Emergency Assistance Center, 19844 Blue Ridge Mountain Road (State Route 601), Bluemont, VA, Loudoun County. Work includes base contract and one option. The BASE contract is the construction of the tower concrete foundations and conduit installation. The OPTION is the installation of the tower frame and the required electrical wiring for the tower lighting. A prebid conference and site visit will be scheduled, specific date/time to be identified in the Request for Quote (RFQ). The period of performance will be 150 calendar days commencing April 1, 1998. Magnitude of construction for this procurement is between $25,000 and $100,000. This procurement is being issued as a small business set-aside.
