Simonson (607) 776-5415 Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations including demolition and removal of existing equipment and material and furnish all labor, tools, material and equipment necessary and perform all work to Replace Existing Fuel Storage Tanks at Building 31, VA Medical Center, Bath, New York, as required by specifications and Drawing No. VAMC-514-1602. Successful Contractor will be required to notify all required regulatory agencies, obtain all necessary permits and licenses, test contents, remove contents, flush, excavate and remove three (3) 20,000 gallon underground fuel tanks, and close down and abandon one (1) 15,000 gallon and one (1) 20,000 gallon underground fuel tank. Contemplated Issue Date is August 18, 1997 with an approximate Opening Date of September 18, 1997. The cost range is $250,000 to $500,000. A non-refundable bid deposit of $50.00 payable to the VA Medical Center, is required for each set of drawings and specifications. Bid packages may be obtained, in writing, from Chief, Acquisition Materiel Management Service, VA Medical Center, Building 41 Argonne Avenue, Bath, New York 14810. Work shall be accomplished within 120 days after receipt of the notice to proceed. All bids must have a 120 day acceptance period. (0218)
