5700 SF pre-engineered metal storage shelter (awning) for the 186th Air
Refueling Wing, Meridian, MS 39307-7112. Building will have rigid frame
structural system with single slope standing seam metal roof and
reinforced concrete foundation system. Shelter will be constructed
adjacent to an existing warehouse structure and will be partially
enclosed, utilizing existing masonry walls to enclose two sides of the
structure with a metal end wall enclosing the third side. Shelter will
be constructed over an existing asphalt paved area and will be
supported by a reinforced concrete foundation. Project is estimated to
cost between $50,000 and $100,000. This solicitation is issued as a
Request for Quote with number DAHA2297Q7346. This is not a public bid
opening. A Firm-Fixed Contract will be awarded. The RFQ incorporates
provisions and clauses as those in effect through Federal Acquisition
Circular Number (FAC) 90-46. This solicitation is under the Simplified
Acquisition Procedures (SAP). This solicitation is 100% Small Business
Set Aside. The Standard Industrial Classification is 1541 and the
Business Size Standard is $17.0M. Plans and specifications will be
available around 21 August 1997 and request must be made in writing by
fac to 601/484-9539. Responses must be received no later than 4:00 PM
Central Day Light Savings, 19 September 1997, in the Base Contracting
Office, 6225 M St., Bldg. 105, RM 115, Meridian, MS 39307-7112. A Site
