The U.S. Department of Agriculture intends to procure a Spray Machine (John Deere 6100) with but not limited to the following specifications: High clearance, self-propelled, with boom, liquid-cooled diesel engine, minimum of 90 hp, 3-or 4-wheel design (2-wheel drive) with ability to turn in a 12 ft. or less radius, complete spraying system, enclosed cab with air conditioning, power steering, electrical-12-volt with heavy-duty battery and alternator, conventional gauges plus tachometer, hourmeter and speedometer, high flotation tires, lighting systems- 12 volt. The system is to be delivered to the USDA, ARS, MAFES North Farm, Mississippi State, Mississippi. Trade In Equipment: One Spray Ram Tractor Pesticide Sprayer with 72" clearance. An RFQ will be issued on or about August 25, 1997. These dates are tentative and will be specified in the RFQ package.
