D -- DATAMAXX SUPPLIES AND SERVICES DUE 090897 POC Kathleen Ferte', Contracting Officer, 202-307-1960 The Department of Justice (DOJ) intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with Datamaxx Applied Technologies, Inc. (Datamaxx), 3780-A Peddie Drive, Tallahassee, FL, 32303, for Datamaxx software and associated hardware and support services (including maintenance). This contract will provide multiple address, NCIC compliant, Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) access to the National Crime Information Center/National Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (NCIC/NLETS) databases. It is anticipated that a minimum of 700 copies of the software may be purchased for use by DOJ. The period of performance, including all optional periods, will be a maximum of five years. The only know source for providing the Datamaxx product line is Datamaxx. Interested parties shall provide written responses, which include a detailed description of their capabilities and qualifications and pricing data, within 30 calendar days from the date of this publication.
