HUD intends to award three contracts to provide management and related services for single family properties which are owned by or in the custody of HUD in the geographical area described as: (1) the counties of Vermillion, Vigo, Parke, Clay, Putman, Owne, Hendricks, Morgan, Monroe, Johnson, Brown, Hancock, Shelby, Bartholomew, Rush, Decator, Wayne, Fayette, Franklin and Union known as the Columbus/Richmond area of Indiana, (2) the counties of DeKalb, Allen, Adams, Wells, Huntington, Whitley, Noble, Kosuisko, Wabash, and Sephen known as the Fort Wayne area of Indiana and (3) South of center line of 35th Avenue within the city limits of Gary, Indiana known as Gary Area #1 of Indiana. The Columbus/Richmond area has a current estimated inventory of 15 HUD-owned properties. The Fort Wayne area has a current estimated inventory of 35 HUD-owned properties. Gary Area #1 has a current estimated inventory of 15 HUD-owned properties. The contractor is required to perform professional management services which requires day to day services in the form of inspections, debris removal, lawn maintenance, winterization, etc. This is a total small business set-aside. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 6531. The term of the contracts are for a one year period with two (2) one year options. The RFP will be available in approximately 15 days from the date of this notice and the proposals will be due in approximately 45 days from the date of this notice.
