U -- Organizational Development Services The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), is required to implement a mechanism for providing professional support and assistance to managers in their continuing efforts to enhance the effectiveness of their portion of the organization. Due to the individualized needs of managers requesting assistance, the projects involved may be varied in nature, magnitude, and complexity. The support required will focus on facilitating improvement and/or maintenance of effectiveness, efficiency, and adaptability of each participating organizational entity in the accomplishment of its mission. The contract support will include technical assistance to the Navy's Engineering of Complex Systems Program; Workshop (technical, management, and training both on and off-site); Planning, Support, and Execution; Science and Technology Investment Strategy Planing and Support; Technical Organization Development Support; Program Team Building and Conflict Resolution. The required support will be primarily for the benefit of the Science and Technology Department of NSWCDD; however, tasking will include support for other departments and all levels of Management. The anticipated contract will be for five years. Solicitation N00178-97-R-3072 will be issued on or about 8 September 1997. The solicitation will close 30 days after issuance.
