Short, Subcontract Administrator, 281/480-8101X563, Fax: 281/461-9907 Johnson Engineering Corporation (JE) is a prime contractor (NAS9-18800) to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) at Johnson Space Center (JSC), Houston, TX. JE is seeking qualified suppliers to provide emergency egress light strips 57" and 36" long, encapsulated in clear silicon rubber tubing, with a 6' pigtail cable, and four lights per inch within tubing. The luminance of each light strip shall be 2 lumens per lighted linear foot per 3.63 steradians and shall have no less than 1/2" minimum visible width from any viewing angle within +/- 65 degrees of normal. The light strips shall have a peak chromaticity (relative Spectral Radiance) of 510-575 nanometers (yellow-green). Aluminum channel shall be used as the mounting brackets.
