This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number VA-797-97-F1Q-0093 is issued as a Request for Quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 90-46. The SIC code is 3496 and the small business size standard is 500 employess. The contractor shall provide, deliver, and set-up the equipment. The following item is required: Quantitiy of 63 Tennsco Cabinet wire shelving (model number MR482462-4), w/4 nickle plated shelves, 48" wide by 24" deep by 57" high, with 5" casters, foot brake; with Dura-Genic cover (model number DG-4824-56), 6 shelf dividers, 1 back ledge, 2 side ledges. Color shall be Putty. Place of delivery and set-up is the Joel Health and Dental Clinic located at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Delivery shall occur on or about 1 November 1997. The Government will award a contract resulting from this synopsis/solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to this synopsis/solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
