A -- SCREEN HUMAN PROSTATE CANCER SPECIMENS USING LASER CAPTURE MICRODISSECTION SOL RFQ-70154-NV DUE 090897 POC Debbie Moore, Purchasing Agent 301/402-4509, Trish Haun, Contracting Officer 301/402-4509 The National Cancer Institute proposes to issue a purchase order with the Johns Hopkins University, 1830 East Monument Street, Baltimore, Md 21205 to screen human prostate cancer specimens for hereditary genetic changes which will using a Laser Capture Microdissection (LCM) unit. This effort is a formal Collaborative Research Agreement involving the National Cancer Institute, the National Center for Human Genome Research, Arcturus Engineering, and Johns Hopkins University. The project is the Cancer Genome Anatomy Project which consisted of the development of a LCM, testing of beta instruments, development of standard operating procedures, training sessions and internet chat rooms. This is not a request for competitive proposals. However, organizations who believe they can meet this requirement may submit a proposal with all evaluative materials needed to make an award to Debbie Moore, 6120 Executive Blvd., Rm. 634, Rockville, MD 20892 no later than September 8, 1997 at 12PM EST.
