Installation of Government furnished 36 strand (24-multimode, 12-singlemode) and 18 strand (12-multimode, 6-singlemode) fiber optic cable. Cable will be routed continuous via direct-bury method four (4) feet below the surface through existing PVC conduit under roads to established building cable entry points. Contractor will terminate the fiber optic cable, in specified building locations and conduct a light source test IAW structured cabling systems to certify installation with documented results provided to the Government. Request for Quotations must be submitted no later than 19 September 1997. Bid packages will be available after publication of this announcement in the CBD.
