Specifically, the goals of the procurement are to 1) establish and implement a systematic approach that fosters HRSA's Office of Rural Health Policy's (ORHP) strategic planning efforts addressing minority health needs; 2) enhance the office's ability to identify federal and non-federal partners willing to assist in establishing a rural minority health agenda that will become an integral part of Healthy People 2000 objectives; 3) generate studies and research projects that will mesh with the rural research agenda currently being developed; and 4) provide information and data that will lead to the development of a national rural minority health policy.
