Public notice is hereby given that the National Park Service proposes to award a concession permit authorizing the continued operation of food services and other related services for the public at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, for a period of approximately four (4) years from May 1, 1998, through April 30, 2001. Interested parties should contact the Superintendent, Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, 1100 N. Mineral Springs Road, Porter, Indiana 46304 (phone: (219) 926-7561) to obtain a copy of the pro~spectus describing the requirements of the proposed permit. SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: This permit has been determined to be categorically excluded from the procedural provisions of the National Environmental Policy Act and no environmental document will be prepared. The Secretary will consider and evaluate all proposals received as a result of this notice. Any proposal must be received by the Superintendent not later than October 20, 1997, to be considered and evaluated. (0232)
