Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation Command (STRICOM) is
currently planning an acquisition for non-support services to support
all of the functional activities (e.g., Engineering, Logisitics,
Acquisition, Legal, Program Management, etc.) performed by STRICOM. The
Standard Industrial Code (SIC) for this acquisition is 8711, and the
small business standard size is $20 million. It is contemplated that
the contract will begin on date of award, continue through the end of
the fiscal year, and contain 5 option years. Special Non-Disclosure
statements and Conflict of Interest clauses are anticipated. It is also
contemplated that prospective offerors possess a sufficient clearance
level to maintain a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF)
capable of storing classified data. The solicitation is planned for
release in October 1997. To provide industry with a better

(Specifically for Electronic Commerce Technology); 3) STRICOM Service
Contract Working Group (Listing of tasks that are inherently Government
