This is a notice of intent to negotiate with Modular Devices, Inc. One Roned Road, Shirley, NY 11967 on an other than full and open competitive basis to purchase 60 each of a DC-DC Converter P/N 3080M-S05 brand name Modular Device. The government intends to negotiate on a Sole Source basis with Modular Devices for they are the only company that offers an EMI FILTERED CONVERETER that SATISFIES the space restrictions. The DC-DC Converter must have the exact pin out in order to fit the existing completed printed circuit board design. It must be small in outline, with maximum dimensions of 1.15" (L) x 1.15" (W) x 1" (H). Delivery is required FOB Destination to Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Bldg. 665, 47179 Vaughn Road, Patuxent River, MD 20670-1614 within 45 days after contract award. The REQUEST FOR QUOTE will be ISSUED on 9/10/97 and a closing date will be established at that time.
