Y -- CUT/FILL STABILITY PROJECT SOL SOL R6-6-97-112Q DUE 091197 POC Contracting Section, 503/668-1621 This project consists of excavation of existing cutslope toes and placement of gabions adjacent to the ditch in order to protect the slopes from further erosion. Restoration of fill slopes and cut slopes by excavating unsuitable soil, i.e., sidecast pull-back and slope rounding. Seed and apply erosion blankets on all disturbed slopes. Best Management Practices will be implemented. Work is to be done on the Zigzag Ranger District of the Mt. Hood National Forest. Recommended contract time is 30 calendar days. Desired Start Work Date is September 15, 1997. The Government's Estimate is between S25,000 and S100,000. (0238)
