Z -- INSTALL PERIMETER FENCE, CHAMBLEE CAMPUS SOL 98C015 DUE 110597 POC Bill Bancroft, Contract Specialist, (404)842-6776 Solicitation Notice: This project is for the installation of a perimeter fence around the unsecured portions of the Chamblee Campus, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 4770 Buford Highway, Atlanta, Georgia. The scope of work includes installation of a black vinyl coated fence, 2,134 millimeter high including three strands of barbed wire, top rail, and bottom rail. It shall be installed along the west, south, and east sides of the campus, connecting into the existing perimeter fence where appropriate. A 3000 millimeter wide access clearing is required to maintain the fence. Contractor will install three pair of gates, each gate 1800 millimeter wide. Where the fence crosses the creek bed, install extra long line posts with chain link fence securely attached to the bottom rail, and/or metal bars formed into a grid to deter anyone attempting to crawl under the fence. The estimated cost range of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. This procurement is solicited under an unrestricted basis, and all interested parties may be considered.
