Thompson (90C) 615-327-5315 FAX 615-321-6351 Design work for reconstruction of road, demolition of approximately 1510 linear feet of adjacent boundary wall, regrading of property, piping of storm runoff, and topographic survey of affected property at the Nashville National Cemetery for the Department of Veterans Affairs, 1310 24th Avenue South, Nashville, TN 37212-2637. This is a firm fixed price contract. This is not a request for proposals. This is a total set-aside for emerging small businesses for Standard Industrial Classification Code 8711. Emerging small businesses may not have more than $1.25 million average revenues for previous three years. Estimated total project cost is $90,000. The site investigation and preliminary design work is to be completed within 54 calendar days of award. The option work is to be completed 120 calendar days following award. Contractor will be required to have the following support functions: (1) spec writer/editor; (2) support functions; (3) design calculations; (4) working drawings; (5) as-built drawings; and (6) miscellaneous reports. Selection will be based on the following criteria which are listed in order of priority: (1) Team proposed for this project; (2) Previous experience of team proposed for this project; (3) Involvement in litigation in the last 5 years; (4) location and facilities of working office(s)(Design and construction); (5) Proposed management plan; (6) Present proposed design approach for this project; (7) Cost control; (8) Estimating effectiveness; (9) Schedule control; and (10) Describe awards you have received for design excellence.
