The Defense Reutilzation and Marketing Service is issuing a competitive 100% small business set-aside nonpersonal commercial services solicitation for the removal and disposal of surplus medium and heavy off-road truck tires located at DRMO Barstow, San Bernardino County, California. Tires are of various sizes,conditions and types. Tires are off rim. Some tires may be baled together. Some tires may be loose on the ground. Tire sizes may include: 16R20.0, 16R22.5, 16R24.0, 14.5R20, and 37X12.5R16.5. The tires are classified as a nonhazardous, state-regulated solid waste. Offerors shall be required to comply with all Federal, state and local regulations governing the transportation, manifesting, and disposal of tires. Offerors will be responsible for all handling, loading and transportation of tires. No Government property or utilities will be furnished. Offerors must compy with FAR 52.219-14, "Limitations on Subcontracting." The Government anticipates issuing a firm fixed price, nonpersonal, commercial services contract. Anticipated period of performance is 60 days after contract award. No option periods are available.
